LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Las Vegas police are looking for two women and a getaway car with a shattered driver's window after a man was wounded in the hand when he arrived at his son's home and interrupted a burglary.
Police say the shooting happened about 6 a.m. Thursday at a house on Copper Road, near the base of Sunrise Mountain.
According to investigators, the man and his wife arrived at their son's house to find a dark gray sedan parked in the driveway with a woman in the driver's seat.
As the man approached, another woman came out of the house, got in the car and fired a gunshot out through the rolled-up driver's window as the car drove away.
The man was taken to University Medical Center.
