This year we are featuring a tour with-in a tour so come experience Hornby?s special architecture built with community hands and spirit by joining us on the ?Heart of Hornby Walk-a-bout? where you will have the opportunity to visit our new Medical Clinic and all of the resource buildings that make up the heart of our community and the trails that connect them.
This part of the tour is, of course, open to the public. Pick up a map at New Horizon?s for the Heart of Hornby Walk-a-bout.
The self-directed tour takes place Saturday, July 2nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is an important fundraiser for the Hornby Island Festival.
Tickets are $20 and are available at the Festival Box Office and 32 Books on Hornby and at Abraxas on Denman Island.

Lunch will be available by Trish at New Horizons as well as the many fabulous Hornby eateries.
Bike rentals can be arranged at a special rate through Hornby Island Outdoor Sports 250 335-0448.
Ferries leave Buckley Bay for Denman and Hornby Islands on the hour and usually cross more frequently on Saturdays. Carpooling is encouraged.
