Skin Condition Finder Helps You Research Common Ailments [Health]

Skin Condition Finder Helps You Research Common Ailments Whether it's a new rash or something persistent, Skin Condition Finder is a tool that can help you research a skin condition, from the innocuous to the serious. Keep in mind though, it's an educational tool and no replacement for a visit to the doctor.

Skin Condition Finder walks you through a tutorial that lets you select the age and gender of the person in question and the area of the body where the condition is located. The service will return multiple results with photos and descriptions (warning, some of them are not for the faint of heart and are not work-safe) of various skin conditions so you can identify the one you're seeing. The photos are large and the descriptions and treatments are well documented, so you find what you think you're looking for, you can see what you're in for when you go to the doctor.

The service is useful as a research tool, especially if you're looking up information on something your doctor has diagnosed, but it's not at all intended to be a diagnostic service. Don't ever hesitate to go to the doctor if you have a condition you can't identify.
