Chicago Ideas Week: I AM NOT A PIRATE | Chicago Hip Hop ...

Chicago Ideas Week 2011 is upon us.? The opportunity to expand your horizons, interact with city peers, and have an input is all part of the package.? Not to mention it?s almost entirely FREE!

Engraved in the week?s festivities are some music specific forums that we are truly jacked up about.

One of which is the ?I AM NOT A PIRATE: Filesharing and the Music Industry? Event that kicks off at 4:00PM tomorrow at Columbia College.

Presented by the Bronzeville Institute of Technology, this panel ?will focus on the impacts and advantages of filesharing and how it?s redefining the ever changing landscape of the music industry.? (chicagoartistresource.org)

This is an unbelievable chance to hear industry leaders (including CHHC Founder Lara Phillips) discuss a topic that we are all familiar with.

We have all downloaded music.? Tens of MILLIONS of households are doing it even.

Whether you are an artist, DJ, A&R, manager or just curious?this will be an entertaining hour and a half.

Come with questions and experience one of the events we at CHHC are truly thankful to be a part of.
